Are you one of many who have felt the need to reach out and make an impact, but don’t know how? Then let me tell you about Wear n Share, where communities come together to help children in need.

What is Wear n Share?

Wear n Share was created by a stay at home mom with a desire to help needy children in the Buffalo area.  Through the donations of new & used children’s clothing and shoes, our intent is to bring children and families not only hope for a brighter future, but actual change in the outcome of their lives.

Why donate to Wear n Share?

Buffalo is suffering from the 3rd highest poverty rate in the country. There are parents faced with the decision of whether to provide their children with food to live in order to survive another day, or clothing to wear so they can attend their local schools.  Which would you choose?  You have the ability to make it so parents don’t have to choose between nourishment and an education.  By donating to Wear n Share you will not only be providing the basics of everyday life, but you will be giving families and children the limitless opportunities that an education creates. 

Who does Wear n Share impact?

Wear n Share’s donations go directly to children who are in need in Buffalo and the surrounding areas.  We have helped families in Buffalo, Amherst, East Amherst, Clarence, Lancaster, Lockport, Tonawanda, Cheektowaga, West Seneca and Depew.  Wherever there is a need in the area, we are here to help.
We are not only working with local organizations, counselors, shelters, schools and churches, but also directly with neighbors in our community who have been impacted by the downturn of the economy or personal tragedies and need assistance.

Where can I donate to Wear n Share?

We make it easy!  We have a donation site in the “Get Heeled” store located at 6000 Goodrich Road at the intersection of Clarence Center Road and Goodrich Road in Clarence Center.  Open Monday-Saturday from 10:00AM-6:00PM and Thursdays until 8:00PM.  Drop off your donations at “Get Heeled” and help “heal” families in need.

How can I make a difference?

• Donate your children’s new & used clothing and shoes to Wear n Share.
• Volunteer your time to help us sort and deliver donations to families in need.
• Get on our email list so we can contact you periodically when a specific need arises.
• Ask your group/organization to get involved by running a clothing drive for Wear n Share.
• Do you work for a church, school, or organization interested in partnering with us to help families in need?  Contact us. 
• Do you know a family who could benefit from utilizing our services?  Contact us.
